IDOVEN receives the Seal of Excellence from the European Commission

At IDOVEN We are clear that the objective of helping people to live a healthy, happy and long-lasting life by bringing professional cardiology into the homes of our clients cannot be limited to Spain alone.

That is why we are gradually increasing the number of analysed hearts coming from the rest of Europe and trying to bring the name IDOVEN to all the European organisations in the medical sector, health centres and companies.

This year 2020 we are applying for funding through the Horizon 2020 programme. Horizon 2020 is the largest Research and Innovation programme in the European Union with almost 80 billion euros of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020).

After passing all the necessary processes, presenting all the requested documentation, evaluations and being selected among almost 4000 European companies as one of the finalist projects, we were considered as deserving of funding but, due to the European Commission's budget limits, we were not eligible.

While we have not obtained this alternative funding, we have been awarded the European Seal of Excellence which makes our purpose, equipment, artificial intelligence technology we are developing, work, strategy and implementation to date supported by the European Commission. The European Innovation Council (EIC) thus supports world-class innovators, entrepreneurs, small businesses and scientists. This support from the EIC Accelerator aims to help high-risk, high-potential small and medium-sized enterprises and innovators to develop and launch new innovative products, services and business models that can drive economic growth.

One year ago the Vice-President of the European Commission, Andrus Ansip, also showed publicly on Twitter his support for the campaign #Shakes that we started in IDOVEN.

"#IA to save lives ❤️ Promising 🇪🇺🇪🇸 #ehealth #startup @Idoven_ai combines wearable technology and #IA to analyze the heartbeat and detect heart problems. You can donate your #data heartbeat to help improve the diagnosis."

This campaign gives the possibility to all our clients, sportsmen, patients, collaborating companies and hospitals to donate their heartbeats so that we can continue teaching cardiology to Willem, the Artificial Intelligence that we are developing in IDOVEN, trying to detect in an early and non-invasive way any cardiac problem thanks to the heartbeats that our clients decide to donate to help us in our purpose.

With this Seal of Excellence we take a small step forward in our mission to eradicate sudden death and heart disease by creating new technologies based on artificial intelligence and bringing professional cardiology to the home or to the place where all the clients who need it are. Enabling people know the state of your heart to rule out heart problems, monitor your heart activity to improve your sporty performanceTrying to find the cause of any symptoms or use the big data to to better understand a heart disease of a patient looking to help his doctors solve the problem.

For any information on how to monitor your heart or donate your beats you can see in the following link or by writing an email to contact@idoven.ai
