The 9th of June 2021 will go down in IDOVEN's history as a key date .
This day we broke the record for the speed of heartbeat analysis per minute . Using a distributed system of virtual machines that reached 1600 GB of RAM in aggregate, we were able to analyse the electrocardiogram of 50,000 heartbeats in less than a minute, making it one of the most accurate automated healthcare mankind has ever made.
Milestones like this bring us one step closer to our goal of creating a solid and sustainable project that helps to create a world-class technology platform that enables the optimisation of medical practice and helps both patients and clinicians to diagnose earlier, faster and non-invasively any possible alterations in the heart of any person, anywhere. We are creating a world-class technology platform that enables the optimisation of medical practice and helps both patients and physicians to better understand cardiac functioning.
WILLEM - Software de Inteligencia Artificial para Cardiología - IDOVEN
With the help of Willem - our artificial intelligence software that we are teaching cardiology - we managed to analyse 50,000 heartbeats in less than a minute of supercomputing after monitoring one of our customers. The combined analysis of the IDOVEN technology and our medical professionals, allows us to find up to 74 cardiac pathologies that can affect the correct functioning of our heart.
The main objective of IDOVEN is to detect in a early detection of heart rhythm disturbances to prevent diseases such as myocardial infarction, arrhythmias and sudden death.. We are redefining the way arrhythmias are diagnosed by combining artificial intelligence algorithms in the cloud with wearable technology, so that our customers can live longer, happier and fuller lives.
Through artificial intelligence, applied to our technology and services we have managed to reduce the analysis time for diagnosis from 8 hours (the average time a cardiologist spends analysing 800,000 heartbeats) to minutes (between 3 and 10 minutes), the time our technology needs to give an accurate professional diagnosis.
Today we are taking another step forward as a company to try to reduce the time needed to diagnose any cardiac pathology. In doing so, we seek to help meet one of the sustainable development goals set by the UN for 2030: to reduce premature mortality from non-communicable diseases by a third through prevention. prevention.
This milestone could not have been possible without all of you and the campaign powered by the Iker Casillas Foundation #donatuslatidosThe Iker Casillas Foundation, from which our Artificial Intelligence and technology learns every day.
On behalf of the entire IDOVEN team, we thank all the world's first heartbeat donors: your role is being instrumental in improving our algorithms and, in doing so, we are helping to prevent cardiovascular disease worldwide.
It is very gratifying for the entire team to see how we are creating the Dream Team of the new digital cardiology. Top-level specialists in engineering, cardiology, techs specialising in artificial intelligence, data scientists, DevOps, cloud architects, scientists, product and SaaS specialists, people from operations, finance, business development, legal, regulatory and quality... Y we continue to grow so that our technology can help more and more people who need it.
We have a great opportunity to continue to build a strong team, technology and unique products that will help millions of patients and physicians. If you know great people who would be interested in working with us to make this happen, we' d love to talk to them.
